L'histoire de Templaire Noir.
The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon ( Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici), commonly known as the Knights Templar, the Order of the Temple or simply as Templars, were among the most famous of the Western Christain Military Orders. The organization existed for approximately two centuries in the period known as the Middle Ages..
Officially endorsed by the catholic Church around 1129, the Order became a favoured charity throughout Christendom, and grew rapidly in membership and power. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades. Non-combatant members of the Order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom, innovating financial techniques that were an early form of Banking and building many castles across Europe and the area known as the Holy Land.
The Templars' existence was tied closely to the Crusades; when the Holy Land was lost, support for the Order faded. Rumors about the Templars' secret initiation ceremony created mistrust, and King Philip IV of France, deeply in debt to the Order, took advantage of the situation. In 1307, many of the Order's members in France were arrested, tortured into giving false confessions, and then burned at the stake. Under pressure from King Philip, Pope Clement V disbanded the Order in 1312. The abrupt disappearance of a major part of the European infrastructure gave rise to speculation and legends, which have kept the "Templar" name alive into the modern day. Philip hoped to gain the wealth of the Templars but found it had been spirited away. Tha last Grand Master of that Order of the Templars, Jacques de Molay, had secured their wealth out of Philip's reach.
L'histoire de Templaire Noir.
The Knights Templar were founded in 1119 by a French Knight from Champagne called Hugues de Payens. He gathered about him 8 of his relatives who were also Knights and approached King Baldwin II of Jerusalem to allow him accommodation. Baldwin granted the Knights quarters on the South-eastern side of the Temple Mount within the Al Aqsa Mosque. The group were intending to safeguard the passage of pilgrims to the Holy Land.
Many more Knights joined the group though not all were combatants. In 1129 The Church sanctioned the Templars at The Council of Troyes. The Order was helped considerably by the patronage of a leading Churchman, Bernard of Clairvaux. Pope Innocent II conferred much power to the Order granting them the right to pass freely through any border and to be exempt from all taxes. There were many donations to the order not just in gold but of land also and they came to have many holdings, causing much envy within other Orders and later also the French Court.
In 1080 a sect was formed called the Hashashins who fought against the First Crusade. Their leader Hasan I Sabbah set up headquarters in Alamut in Northwest Iran. By the time the Templars were formed the 'Assassins' were a formidable foe and the then leadership of the Knights Templar decided a similar force was needed to combat them. Thus came into being the most secret and deadly arm of the Templars called The Black Templars. It is not known who the first Prior of this arm of the Order was and soon they were an Order in their own right with their own rules and who were answerable only to their own consciences.
The number of Black Templars was 300 from hand picked men known for their bravery and some who were converts from Islam to Christianity who could infiltrate the enemy. By 1177 at the battle of Montgisard the Black Templars had enough information to lead the Moslem ruler Saladin into dividing his forces and thus losing the battle. Though the Templars suffered some mighty losses at the hand of Saladin who was a great General as well as a leader the Black Templars were still a force to be reckoned with though their work was most secret, removing some of Saladins most competent men.
Throughout the centuries the Black Templar leadership were responsible for the removal of anyone who was considered to be a threat, though to whom is not always clear, and it is said to have included Popes and leaders of Countries. The group have always found and nominated their own successors and survived the purge of the Church and the French King of the Knights Templar in the 14th Century. They have always maintained their numbers at 300 and though there have been those who have had knowledge of them and have applied to join, they have not been taken in unless there has been a vacancy for which there has been no nomination because of the untimely death of an existing member.
The Black Templars survive today because no-one knows their leadership nor any of the members who remain loyal to their own particular Templar codes. It has been said that they managed to secrete the Templar wealth from the destruction of the original Templar order in the 14th Century and use it to control many Presidents. Prime Ministers and much of Industry. That is not true.
What is true is that many unexplained deaths can be laid at their door for what they call the betterment of mankind. Despite the fact that it has been said that their official motto is Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, this is not in worship of the Devil as Alistair Crowley would have us believe, but the urging of their leadership to make decisions that fly in the face of the law for the sake of bringing their plans to fruition.
The aim of the Black Templars is to improve the lot of mankind by whatever means it takes. Those who belong to the Order owe their allegience to the order above all others.
The Black Templars are actively recruiting new members from all walks of life to join their Legions. No-one will be barred from joining because of colour or creed. If you are interested in a life where you are involved in looking after the interests of your fellow man please consider joining.
